Who all is waiting??

I thought it would be fun to keep a running list so that we can all celebrate together! Post what school you are waiting to hear from and approximately when you should be finding out.

Im waitin on UT-H, UTMB, HBU (got accepted w/scholarship to school in general but waitin on College of Nursing decision) and Wharton Co. Jr. College ADN program...this whole waiting thing really bites considering I know most of you are like me and are type-A people who are type-A students and that naturally means we SUCK at being patient!! :) :)

Oh yes, if you've read any of my other posts you know that "Type A" is the perfect description! : )

I applied to Mont., NH, and Tomball....waiting....letters go out sometime in April.

Well.... I was premed, but then I decided that I don't want to work doctor's hours (i.e. all the time) and discovered that nursing might be a more viable option, especially since, once you have your RN, there are many avenues you can take. Also, in all of my experiences with nurses and NPs, from the hospital to the doctor's office, it seems that they have a more caring,and one on one approach and are more knowledgable at times. I guess 'cause they are on the "front lines". I'm thinking of eventually becoming a CRNA or NP. Who knows!

I think the postman hurries past my house now since I either seem to be "playing" outside with my 3 yr old, or sitting at the front of the house.

Maybe the selection committees should think about sending out Xanax with every completed app they receive???

I am so excited. I got my letter today. I'm gonna be a Horned Frog this May. Talk about celebrating around here!!!!

Congrats! You got the letter before the postman had to file a restraining order lol! That is so awesome. I hope there are more letters going around these next couple of weeks :)
