Who interviewed for CRNA and did NOT get in?

Hi guys -

I have some apps out for CRNA programs and enjoy reading everyone's experiences through the process. Nobody really talks about not getting accepted after an interview. If you're one of those individuals and care to shed light, what do you think went wrong?

I got into 3 schools and rejected at one, so i guess I can chime in. The school where I was rejected had a very short interview process and the questions were consistent. Apart from that, I really can't pin point why I was not accepted.

I got into one school but turned it down because it was way, way too expensive. I ended up moving because of family circumstances and decided to try again and apply in my new area since the schools were cheaper. I applied to one school, went to the open houses and applied before the app even opened. I really wanted to go to this school and really expressed interest in the school. I was rejected (no interview). This gave me motivation to change up my essay and resume format. I applied again to several more schools and was just accepted to one. My advice to anyone is to try again and keep optimistic.

It's easier for me to say this, but don't get frustrated. There are more and more people trying to get into CRNA school each year and competition will continue to increase. Just find out what you are weak in and improve on that or make the other parts stand out. If you have a high GPA but minimal experience then move to a CVICU or SICU in a large center for an extra year or two. If your GPA is
