Who do I contact at St. Johns for PCT training?

Published

hi guys! hope everyone is doing swell and groovy. does anyone know who to contact directly in regards to the pct training at st. johns mercy? i have heard that they have classes frequently for those with no prior medical training. i am completing one undergrad degree in a non-medical field, but i also have completed all my nursing prerequisites for entry into a bsn program next year. i want to be a pct because i know that it will help me tremendously. i have tried applying at bjc hospital, but i have not gotten any responses. is there anywhere else i can apply for this type of training? i am trying to avoid going to a pct school if i can help it...lol! ;)

thanks in advance for the responses.

Someone posted on here recently that they got dressed and went in to HR with their resume/application and I think they talked to someone on the spot.

Keep in mind that many of the local hospitals are really cracking down on their hiring right now, so don't be discouraged if you don't get snapped right up. It's just kind of a sign of the times, including for new grads. Hopefully things will begin to pick up soon!

Good luck!

:uhoh3: I'm still not sure I completely understand:confused:. I'm just getting my feet wet in this searching for PCT training. I'm so lost and kind of feel like I'm out here on my own! I'm not finding any schools that seem to have a legit PCT training program. I honestly am open to going almost anywhere! If anyone can help me with any kind of information about schools, hopefully that you have personal experience with in Ga, TX, Penn, or even NY I would so GREATLY appreciate it.
