Hi i am ria. An indian nurse who is currently living in US. I was trying to apply for my licensure credential validation with newyork board, and stuck at this phase in which i have to send the signed forms to the board. I completed the application online and paid the fees aswell. I have no clue who can notarize that last page of my apllication. The pdf of instructions reads that i should sign and date the aplication in presence of a notary. Still it is not clear to me. When i tried th3 call centre the waiting tim3 is too long. I will really appreciate if somebody could help me with it. Thnks in advance

A notary is someone who is authorized to serve as an impartial witness to signing of certain types of legal documents. You need to find a person who is a licensed notary public and sign/date the application in their presence, and they will then witness and apply a seal. A simple Google or phone directory search should help you find one in your area.
Hi,, thanks a million.. back in my country lawyers and school or college principals are authorised to do so.. here the google searches showed me public servants and i wished to know more specific about who might be appropriate in my case.. i thank you onve again,,, i got one notary in my area with the phone directory.. appreciate it..

Walk into any bank and you'll find a notary.
