I have been accepted to Madisonville Community College and Henderson Community College for the nursing program Fall 2015. Any thoughts on which is the better school???

Choosing a College can be difficult and people cannot really tell you which is best on here since this is an international website. You might have better luck posting under your State section but Do your own research.
First ensure each is accredited, and by which governing body. Go to each school website, evaluate it, is it easy to get information or is it a confused mess...this gives you an idea of how well organized the school is. Check the about page and see how long each nursing program has been around - tells you if they got experienced instructors or newbies. Then go to your Nursing board website and look at the NCLEX pass rates for each college. This is not definitive but gives you an idea of which college is doing better. Next, go to usnews college ranking or other website to see the rank of each nursing school. Next, ask past students about their experience...if you don't know anyone, then post here to your related State/college to get different views. Check what financial aid is available, some colleges have more than others, make an appointment with financial aid if you need to. If you have not already, PHYSICALLY visit each school, go to their nursing information desk see if you can get a tour of the lab or at least speak to some students currently in the program. Sometimes schools have nursing information secessions where they may answer your questions, go to one of these at each. Sometimes when you visit a college you will actually get the feeling that it feels like a right fit for you. Find out which hospitals each school is associated with. Some people don't do this but this could be the path to a career at your dream hospital. Find out where they do their clinicals etc. Lastly find out Which University each college is associated with. If you plan on doing your bachelors(which you will probably have to), many community colleges have articulation agreements with Universities which make it easy to transfer your credits without hassle.
Look at each area and grade each by points and see which most meets your needs.
Good luck with your choice!

Congrats Shawna! I recently applied to MCC's Spring 2016 program. Have you decided which school you will be attending?
