Hello,
I just made the big decision that I want to become a RN!! Now im super confused on what is my first step. I know I have to do my prerequisites, but dont know what college to attened to do so. I want to obtain my my BSN so that knocks out the community collage I was thinking of. Now im kind of at a stand still and I really want this for myself but have absolutly no idea of where to go. I live in the east bay but i am willing to commuite, any courses offerd online is a plus . Someone please help me!!!!!!!-

Welcome to AN! Places to start would be your state BON website for a list of approved programs and ACEN and CCNE searches for accredited programs. I wouldn't necessarily discount community college- it is quite possible to take prereqs at a community college and then transfer to a 4 year school. Just make sure that the schools would approve transfer credits. Speak with an advisor at schools you are considering.
