I'm a Camp Director at an international leadership camp in Rhinebeck, NY. We are a scholarship program run through a small non-profit, so I have a very limited budget for summer staff recruitment. Since I can only afford one good job posting, my question is:
Which websites do nurses use to find camp jobs?
I want to make sure that I am posting our camp nurse jobs on a site that is actually visited. Thank you for your help!
If you are interested in a camp job yourself, you can contact me, visit our website at lajf.org or email me at [email protected]
About our program: Camp Rising Sun is a full scholarship, international, summer program for teenagers. We bring together a diverse group of extraordinary, highly motivated young people from 25 countries to participate in 2 back-to-back 4-week programs carefully designed to promote personal growth, leadership skills, a service ethic, and intercultural understanding.

It's been a really long time since I found my job, but I think it was the ACN website that I used. The Association of School Nurses is a good one too. The past 2 nurses hired at our camp came to us that way, I believe.

The ACA website is also good place to post jobs. I went on it and I posted my application, and it got sent out to a lot of camps.

I found the camp I've been at for he last 4 years on Craigslist. I found it on accident - I was looking for nursing jobs in general and although my camp is in Maine, it was advertising in the Philadelphia area which I live. Definitely include a link to your camp's website to show that it's legit since Craigslist can have a weird feel to it.
