Personally, I am a fan of public institutes. The programs are a lot less expensive. Good luck.

I work for Baptist Hospital. Although not an Rn or LPN myself, the Rn's that I work with always say positive thinngs about LPN's that went to the Mercy program.
Hope this helps; Good luck!

I just graduated from Robert Morgan Educational Center. I LOVE the program and recommend it to everyone. I've heard HORRIBLE things about Lindsey Hopkins, and don't bother paying all that extra money at Keiser or one of those private schools. Robert Morgan is part of MD County Public schools, keeps on the MD school schedule (days off) and has Pell Grants, Scholarships, and Workforce. I payed for NOTHING to go thru this program. Everything from uniforms shoes to books and even my NCLEX fee was covered by Workforce. RMEC is off of 152nd street and 118th Ave.
Good Luck!

I graduated from Mercy Hospital April of last year and I've been working at jackson memorial hospital for a year now and my nurse manager is wowed by the level of education I came in with. Mercy at least for me excelled they always said we are not teaching LPN's...we are teaching mercy nurses and today I finished my last test with excelsior college for their LPN-RN bridge program and honestly I thank Mercy for at least 80% of my passing these tests so fast and with all A-B's. Don't worry about the money they will work a way to fund you.

Thats wonderful!! Great to hear...I am very interested in attending Mercy Hospital for there LPN-RN program. If you don't mind me asking, why did you choose excelsior college and not continue with Mercy in their bridge program? Do you know how the RN students did? Or how they enjoyed the program? Do you know if it's as competitive to get into the RN program as it is for the LPN program? I know that you might not know, but anything would help. Apprecitate it....Thanx!
