Where Are the Nursing Jobs in Augusta, GA.?

Hello Everyone,

I am a new nurse, and I recently moved to Georgia because my spouse is in the military.

I have applied with every hospital you can imagine and I have not had any luck. It's just really discouraging.

I have even went to these places in person and passed out resumes, cover letters, spoke with staff, nursing managers, HR departments. You name it and I probably have already tried it. One HR representative said they have these periods when they hire new graduates and when they hire more experienced nurses. I have seen the Augusta chronicle and in the career section shows the need for nurses. I have already applied and went there to. Another hospital is actually laying people off and has put a hold on hiring for the moment, and they usually hire new nurses.

At this point I just don't know what else to do. Can anyone give me some advise?

Did you go to EAMC and apply? What about the VA? The government fiscal year begins Oct 1st-I have a feeling they will then have the money in their budget for new hires.
