Guys share your score and the minimum needed to pass Nclex, for example if the computer turns off at 75 questions, how much of that 75 you need to pass/:penguin:

Hey there. Mine stopped at 75..don't know if i passed or didn't yet...but i believe in order to pass..you need to get 50% of the DIFFICULT questions right...so if you get 75 questions, 15 are experimental, 60 are "real questions" so you pretty much much need to get 30 of the hard questions right...hope that makes sense..but somebody on this forum probably knows more than i do. good luck.

Hi! Mine also stopped at 75! And Im now freaking out coz am already realizing 5 mistakes! and the rest of other answers unsure!
My anxiety level is greater now than during the exam!
My heart has stopped beating when I recalled my mistakes
I cannot afford to fail my NCLEX but what will I do?
I hope theres still a miracle for me to pass
O God!

As far as I know, there is not any magic number or percentage that you need to get in order to pass or fail. The computer gives you questions until it knows that if it kept giving you questions, you would keep getting enough right to pass. I have never heard of needing 50% of the hard questions right to pass, because people that pass with 75 questions certainely do not get all 60 of their's as hard questions. Just study and go in there confident that you will pass, and you will do fine.
Yes someone told me you need 50% to pass, so I think this is true, am just freaking out over here, wanting to do or not to do that exam as yet.

Basically, both passers and failers tend to get around 50% no matter what. The computer is trying to find the difficulty level where you're getting 50%. If you start doing better, it will raise the difficulty. If you start struggling, the difficulty level lowers until it finds your 50% mark again. The level of difficulty determines pass/fail, not a percentage.
Nurse_po_me, five mistakes is not very many.
Good luck, guys!
