I hope this is the right forum for this question.....
I am currently a pre-nursing student working on my pre-req's. I have applied for a job at a local hospital as a "Patient Ambassador" in the ED. In addition to providing some extra $ to my family, it seems like a good opportunity to familiarize myself with the hospital system and perhaps get a "foot in the door" when I graduate.
Well, I received an email suggesting that I might be contacted by the hiring manager for an interview. Great news, but what should I wear if interviewed? My background is Finance.... all suits, high heels and panty hose! Would I wear a suit to this type of interview? Any other advice or insights to help me in the door?? Thanks!

well, i'm a male....at the end of my 3rd year
I suggest you do dress up a bit although for girl i not entirely sure what that is.
I know most female peers when applying for hospital jobs this summer tended to wear a skirt/slacks with a blouse with nice shoes. Just look professional! Your applying to work in a hospital amongst doctors and nursess both profession'ss so i think by dressing up nice you will make a good impression. Best of luck ~Loquacity
(eg for my interview i wore a suit and tie)
