I did take it that he was only talking about the Middle East being in good shape and perhaps it was.

At best you misunderstood that he meant or if you did you deflected.  Own it.  No one cares anymore.

I can't access the article.

Regardless, Trump isn't necessary to blame for the current blow up.  But his predictions of a "New Middle East" full of peace certainly was a false prediction.

Certainly though it isn't necessarily a failure of either Trump or Biden that there's fighting in the Middle East right now.

This was written when Trump was in office.

You know, I am always happy to admit when I am wrong.  Maybe he was referencing that things were good in the middle east, I still don't agree with that perspective.   I would argue that Trump further inflamed an already volatile relationship.

My reply was to the poster about his article blaming Trump on the current mess in the Middle East.

Nice deflection, though.

Really. He appointed kushner and boasted about the success of the brokering between the nations. What's happening there now? I expect you will try to blame Biden?

Of course Trump inflamed the situation. He appoints a moron like kushner and you expect it to go right? He almost bankrupted his business left to him by his father and if he didn't engage in so much crime, he would have lost it. In any case his time is coming. I expect the justice Dept to be turning their beady eyes towards him very soon.

Consider this Beerman, Trump was the architect of his own demise. There's an economic model that I read but I can't really remember the name of the author. Anyway, whenever a society is structured in inequality as ours is, about 10% owning more than the rest combined, during times of a pandemic or disaster etc, the people that suffer the most, becomes ripe for alternative input because of resentment. The wealthy doesn't suffer, they do. Which is why they were so primed for Trump. He had the loudest voice which in the economic model is usually taken by the labor unions and anti wealthy people, however since Trump usurped that segment, they turned to him!

He anti vaxed and promoted the uniquely paradoxical American phenomenon of socialism, in which socialism means that the poor(meaning black men) is taking money and assets from the wealthy white man. Socialism is about govt owning the businesses and manufacturing. Only in America is it about black people and racism. Oh, the irony!

The wealthy white man forced into food lines and to take a govt handout! Thank God that our foremost religion is hypocrisy! Especially the republicans! They followed Trump down the rabbit hole and will now be evicted, with their credit ruined and their health benefits vanished and will be rescued by the Democrats.

I have no doubt whatsoever that their hypocrisy and ungratefulness will keep a lot of them republicans, but possibly, just enough might decide to defect or open their eyes.

And again he's the biggest loser! Stupid people, act stupidly!

To paraphrase Beerman, we've already covered these topics.

He was quoting the Middle East article, so to me he was talking about the Middle East, not necessarily things overall.

But anyway, I think the current situation is just another in the long standing conflict.  Trump, with his pro-Israel stance I think emboldened the right wing element in Israel to continue their takeover of Jerusalem and attempt to drive out Palestinians during his administration.

Biden's challenge is going to his so-called human rights approach to world diplomacy, his stand back approach to Israel,  his stance of equality for for Jews and Palestinians, while Israel is acting aggressively with billions of American military aid.

It's a mess and always has been and probably always will be.

But of course, as always the blame game between right and left is going back and forth.

Yes indeed! I would call that a tired response. Maybe you should look into the theory I suggested. That's quite fascinating actually.

Another aspect of that theory was that when you combined the wealth of the poor, it far exceeded the wealth of the rich. Also their contributions tax wise and in other ways, far exceeded the wealthy. Except, they weren't allowed to own things and were perpetually in debt to the wealthy.

You should try and explore the outcomes of the societies where that business model was prevalent. It isn't pretty!

Maybe, kushner should have another go?

This is How real, high achieving people operate!

Biden takes his time, gets input from multiple, educated sources and then encourages debate about the information received before arriving at proposed solutions!

This is how successful people operate! You make informed decisions. You eliminate emotional responses. You don't respond in a knee jerk fashion based on polls or the media's trending headlines.

A far cry from the imbecile we just had for four years and the current bunch of dolts running the republican party!

Yes!  Biden is doing an excellent job!

In contrast, the Republican Party is the party of the know nothing white supremacist/Q-Anon.  Once the GOP gets away from being the GQP that can change.

However, due to the hateful members of the GQP being in larger numbers than real conservatives who actually love this country, know that the twice impeached Trump is not currently president, and teaching real history of racism and pointing out is not the problem, racism is, will take time.  In the mean time, true conservatives and everyone in support of actual freedom will need to continue to do what we do and that is to fight back!

The Republican-dominated Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on Monday denounced an ongoing audit of the 2020 election vote as a “sham” and a “con,” calling on the GOP-led state Senate to end the controversial recount that has been championed by former president Donald Trump.

In a fiery public meeting and subsequent letter to state Senate President Karen Fann, the board members said the audit has been inept, promoted falsehoods and defamed the public servants who ran the fall election.

Calling the process a “spectacle that is harming all of us,” the five members of the board — including four Republicans — asked the state Senate to recognize that it is essential to call off the audit, which officials have said is only about one-quarter complete.

THREE WEEKS and the AZ audit is only 1/4 complete????  Didn't AZ state reps complete an entire audit in that time period last year --- after all, the election winners have ascended into their current elective office.

I'm done with you republicans. Now you are exporting the Arizona chickens who ate the ballots to Popeyes and screwing up the flavor of the chicken!!

Why couldn't the idiots just burn the ballots instead of feeding it to the chickens first????

This is a huge conspiracy and I am not going to stand for it. Ballot flavored chicken is NOT GOOD!

WHEN YOU MESS WITH CHICKENS the COLONEL is going to get you!

WHATTTT!!

A Covid task force by Garland!

Jared is going to Israel and he isn't coming back!!

Man are the ballot flavored chickens coming home to roost ???????
