I got my authorization to test 3 weeks ago. I have been moderately preparing before this, but I started more hard core no-nonsense prep 3 weeks ago.
My strategy has been to ONLY use kaplan. I have been skimming the review book to brush up nursing content, and I've been doing 100-200 questions in kaplan every day.
This sounds like a death sentence, but I have a very good memory and really don't need much review of nursing content (my nickname is robot due to my nerdly ways).
My average score in Kaplan qbank is 64%, but some of those questions were insane, or ridiculous, or both.
My diagnostic exam with kaplan was 70%, and my evaluation exam was 71%.
I just finished the last question trainer (all 265 questions, uuuugh) and I scored a 70%.
I'm a little worried that I may have made the wrong decision in my prep strategy... what do you think the odds are of me passing the first time with these kaplan scores?
Do kaplan scores even indicate likelihood of passing NCLEX?
