hey guys! I applied to RCC for the Spring 2021 start and I got an 82.7 on my TEAS. this semester the school is only looking at TEAS scores for admissions so it's pretty nerve wracking! so I was wondering what TEAS scores got you accepted to your program? just looking for a baseline because Google doesn't seem to want to help me.

I think you'll be fine with that score!! If it's the ATI TEAS, I think that 78-90 is "proficient" and I read that competitive schools are looking for scores from 80-85. I'm not an expert- I am almost done with my LPN and our school accepted students above 60 I think. I got a 74 because I'm TERRIBLE at math (great at dose calcs though, thank God)- and my director was impressed. ?
Good luck with everything!

The minimum score to be considered for my school is a 68 I believe! When I was talking to the nursing advisor she said my score was on the upper end of the scores she'd seen, but of course that was before the deadline! I just can't wait to get a response, I'm so stressed that I'm struggling to concentrate on the last of my prereqs! haha

I got a 68 the first time and a 72 the second time I took the exam. However both times I took the exam, my scores were very unbalanced between the individual sections. I definitely think I didn’t study well enough and luckily I got accepted to my program with the first score (I had a higher score in the reading section that attempt).
However, there were other factors in my application that led to me getting accepted.

That's a great score!! I think anything within the 80s makes you competitive in a lot of application pools. I made an 87.3 the first time and a 92 the second time, but I honestly would've been just fine with the first one. A lot of my classmates were admitted with scores in the mid-70s, too! Hope this helps.
Wishing you the best of luck! ?
Misharuu, good luck! Let us know when you hear. I remember how stressful that was. I went back and forth between thinking that of course I got accepted, I'm a great candidate, to being sure that I didn't even have a chance. Hard to think of much else!

Yay, congratulations! It’s tough trying to get into a program. I feel so much relief now that I got accepted. It was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And I really, really didn’t want to have to retake either of those tests (HESI or TEAS). Now we can look toward the future!
