Hey, I was wondering if people could tell me what percentage of their paycheck they take home.
Without revealing anyone's hourly rate, if you could simply take your net pay after taxes and divide that by the gross amount and then multiply that by 100 and then post the results here.
My wife and I are probably going to be relocating to Colorado from NYC. Our taxes are different here in NYC as opposed to Colorado.

The state income tax is a flat 4.63%. Some towns/cities have an additional tax, but it's very minor (like $2 a month). So just substitue 4.63% for whatever state and local taxes you are paying now - the federal taxes are the same.
