My all time favorite is Al Stewart -- his music is haunting and thoughtful. And if the only one by Al you've ever heard is "Year of the Cat", you are missing a lot.

If you can find it, listen to "Roads to Moscow" -- gives me chills every time I hear it.

I listen to a lot of today's Pop Music, but enjoy many other forms of music, too.......jazz (Kenny G especially):) ....some R&B (as long as it isn't vulgar and too sappy) :rolleyes: ......depending on my mood, I like to listen to classical, C&W, and easy listening music. Yep...all depends on my mood what I listen to. :D

I'm a pop music fan.

I'm a particular fan of British/Irish pop like Keane, Ronan Keating, Robbie Williams.

I also like jazz/pop like Norah Jones and Katie Melua (another British singer).

I also am fond of American pop like Maroon 5, John Mayer.

I like salsa, merengue, norah jones, john mayer, jazz, big band era, and 80's music.

I like metal : Korn, Tool, Fear Factory, Perfect Circle ect...primarily. But really it depends on my mood. I will ALWAYS love Elvis though. And I do like old school country (Hank Williams Sr. , George Jones, Patsy Cline and so on)

I'm wide open - of course my favorite is what I grew up on and that is rock and roll.

The only thing I can truly say I do not like is rap music that denigrates women or advocates violence and drug use.

I love every type of music on this earth. I can find a song that I enjoy in almost any genre of music. My favorites are Contemporary Christian, Gospel, Bluegrass, Rock, Classical, and Opera but there is so much more in the world to enjoy that it would take all day to go into detail.

I listen to country mostly, but I voted for hip hop. I guess that is right, songs like, "Baby Boy", "My Goodies"...

However depending on my mood at the time, I also listen to Christian music, rock, and I love the 80's music!!!!! :) (Come on Eileen!) :chuckle
