What does Provisional Acceptance mean?

I got a letter from my college of nursing for Provisional acceptance, what does this mean? thank you in advance.

It means you were put on the wait list I think. Does it have a number on there?

Do you have classes that are prerequisites that are in progress? In my experience that means you're accepted provided you maintain your gpa and complete any acceptance requirements outstanding. Ask your program though to be sure.

Oh okay, I am taking nutrition and it does say as long as I mantain the gpa of 2.75. And I got a card that says accept or decline.
