What positions are good for those who like routine?

I worked 5 months on a med surg unit and quit because I had severe anxiety about not knowing what type of patients I would get. I transitioned to dialysis and I'm liking the routine. But it doesn't pay well. I want to pick up extra shifts some place else. How are nursing homes? With 5 months on a med surg unit I learned a lot but didn't learn how to give blood or peg tubes. Can I still work at nursing homes? What other pm positions will be a good fit for those who like routine?
