I called Harrisburgh for information, left a message a few days ago and received no reply as of yet. I always look at the best and worst in every situation and if I were to HAPPEN to fail the nclex RN 3 times, what would the repurcussions be? Some states require you to take a review course...I'm not 100% sure about PA. Thanks in advance.:loveya:

I think you'd be better off focusing on passing the exam. Think positive!

Definitely think positive but does vary from state to state although most do require some sort of course if you fail over I think 3 times, but like I said it does vary

It is my understanding that my state used to have a limit on the number of times one could test, but did away with that restriction years ago. I worked with a nurse who was known for the number of times she took the RN exam and failed. I don't know how many times she did this, but it was several. I also think you need to focus on studying and getting into the mindset that you will pass on your first try. You don't want to feed into negative thinking. To satisfy your curiosity, if no one answers your question here, occasionally try calling your Board for the answer, until you get through to someone. It will make for a good study break activity. But please don't dwell on it!
