Hi
I just got my LMO from Alberta and I was told to apply for my work visa at the Canadian embassy in London (UK). I wonder which kind of visa should i apply...a work permit visa or the skilled worker visa with permanent residency.
I need urgent advice from previous UK nurses who had moved to Canada. I have not submitted my LMO yet.
How about if i go to Alberta on a work permit visa then apply for permanent citizenship there? or would it be easier to apply for the permanent citizenship under the skilled worker scheme?

There is a big difference between being a landed immigrant and a citizen. You need to live here as a landed immigrant before you can apply for citizenship.

You can apply for PR after a few months and you get a permanent job offer from your employer. I am not sure how long it will take but probably 6-12 months approx from starting the process
