Hello all!I have a job interview next week for a position as a new graduate nurse in an Advanced Surgical Unit.For the life of me, I have looked everywhere and I can't figure out what kind of patients are cared for in the Advanced Surgical Unit? I have been a Surgical Technologist for the past 25 years and wonder if I will have the knowledge for these patients?Thanks so much for your answers in advance!Happy New Year,PRNADNST

Dec 29, 2017 My guess is that it's a facility specific term for a type of floor. Perhaps an ICU or step-down type of unit? The facility would be the best place to get that answer.
