What, in your opinion, are some of the best characteristics one should look for when choosing a nursing school?
Thanks

you want to choose a school with a great nclex passing rate. My school has a 100 % passing rate.
Has to be board certified

Good clinical sites! Some schools will have you do everything at a community hospital, while others will have you at all kinds of facilities.
The broad range of clinical experiene I received (everything from a women's shelter to post-transplant care and interventional radiology at a huge, well-respected teaching hospital) helped me see "the bigger picture" of nursing... wouldn't trade it for anything!

In California you would apply to ANY nursing school within a 60 miles radius and PRAY that you were accepted into one of them!
