What does HD mean for nursing exams?

Published

Can someone please explain to me what the "HD" stands for? Also for Nursing concepts 1-7; what does each test cover. I will be falling under the new curriculum and not sure what some of this stuff is?

Thx

in what context is this HD used?

Specializes in Critical Care, Acute Dialysis.

Under the new cirriculum you will not be taking NC 1-7, HD is health differences....The first 3 tests are Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Safety, Health Differences and Reproductive Health.....Then you move on to Health Differences Across the lifespan: 1,2 and 3 and Transition to the Registered Proffesional Nurse Role. The only real difference in the new curriculum is that NC3 has been divided into two tests comprising Reproductive health and HD1. Hope this didn't confuse you more :)
