What a great day!!!!!

Today was our last day of lecture!!!!!! Time for Summer Vacation very soon. Also had a test this morning and I am pretty sure I only missed 1 (that I changed at the last minute, stupid me). Did good on my Pediatric final yesterday and got a 95% on the test right before that.

We just have our Maternity Final next Tuesday and NLN test that following monday and that is it!!!! Well about half the class has clinicals these next 2 weeks but I already did mine.

I am SOOOOOO ready for this break and to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Anyone else almost done??? Well done for now. I still have 1 year to go.

Hooray!! Enjoy your break! Today was my last day of lecture...only 1 more clinical day, 1 final, 1 Hesi and the boards :D

YAAAYY!!!! i know exactly how you feel. I have one more clinical day on monday and my last peds test thursday and then i'm freeeeee!!! I'm so ready for this break, you don't even know....

One more semester and i'm out of nursing school, yes!

Awesome work! Days like this make it all worthwhile, huh? I also have one year left, and just two more weeks of this semester. I had a great day, too. I got my clinical grade for med Surg, and it was an A! I also made an A on my last module exam in med surg today, which secured my A in that class. In my program, if you go into finals with an A, you will have to take the final, but will keep your A regardless of what you get on the final. I also have an A in OB, so basically, I don't have to stress over finals at all! YAY!!! This is what I try to do every semester - work my butt off in the beginning so that I can take it easy later. Now, if I could just get an A in OB clinicals...

I'm done a week from today! I had our HESI today, I have two finals and another HESI to go and that's it! I'm so ready for a break!

I'm just now beginning my summer classes next week :eek: So I'm in the exact opposite position as you all, but I'm still really excited to be starting out...I'm sure I'll be eating those words in few weeks from now, and I'll be praying for our breaks to begin.

That is awesome!!!! That is really cool your school does that as well. Our clinicals are pass or fail and I finished those so I am in the clear. I am a little bummed I thought I only missed one on our test yesterday but I missed 2 which is a 90% B so that sucks. But oh well. Just have my maternity final left now next Tuesday so have the next 6 days off. Then that next week get that NLN out of the way and I can officially say I am done with my first year.

That stinks. This is why I didn't even go for an accelerated program. They don't get breaks in Summer and Winter and I love my breaks to much LOL they keep me sane.

Keep your positive attitude it will help you later on. Congrats on starting your journey.

Yay! Two weeks from tomorrow is my last day. We have summer classes, but still get 3 weeks off. I can't wait! Of course, we have a bunch of tests and two more clinicals in those two weeks, but once I get through that, I'm free.

I like breaks, too, but sometimes they are too long for me. I'm such a nerd - I start to get antsy after being out for a month or two.

I get the same way and I also miss my friends, but I enjoy the extra time with my daughter. (the youngest of my 4) all this time away is hard on her. Last week when I would get home in the middle of the night from clinicals I would peek in at her sleeping and she would wake up and one night she says "I miss you so so much mommy" half asleep and then the next night, my last night she says "you promise me no more hopital, you stay with me".

So I plan on having a great summer with the kids. But I do get antsy being out for to long LOL

Yep sounds about right, in NS you can be like WOOOHOOO 1 week to go, but in that week you have journals and care plans and 4 tests and a paper do. LOL
