By "trainers," are you meaning any specifically?
A nclex seminar was presented before I graduated, & the nurses who presented it suggested doing so many thousand questions (I can't remember how many thousand) & being ready to test when one was getting 75%s on a consistent basis.
I was probably pushing 6,000 questions with about 4 1/2 books under my belt & usually being in the low 70s when I said, "what the heck, thing's aren't getting any better, I might as well test."
When the computer when gray @ 75 questions, I was quite certain I had tanked in a major way, & I was thinking what a waste all that time was, because it seemed like only a half dozen or so questions pertained to what I'd studied (& the math). Evidently I was wrong, & in the process I learned how to answer questions I felt clueless about.
Good luck.
