If you have an engraved stethoscope WHAT did you have engraved on your scope? Initials? Full name? Credentials? What have you seen on other's stethoscopes?
I know there are a bunch of these threads but i'm trying to get an idea of what I want engraved. Also, do you think I could engrave RN on my scope if I covered it up with tape until I gradutated- I don't want to commit a faux pas (and a crime) but it is cheaper to have everything engraved at once then to go back and add it after I graduate.
Opinions and Advice please!

I engraved my full name with credentials after them. It has been useful when others have borrowed it, it always comes back to me.

Jane Doe RN. My engraving is on a clip that attaches to my stethescope, so I didn't put it on until I was legal. I used a temporary lable that came with the stethescope until then.

I have nothing engraved on my stethoscope. I've had it since I graduated and have never lost it. However I work at a small rural hospital.
