Hello everyone!
I am currently pursuing my associate's degree to become an RN. Once I get a job, I plan on continuing my education for my BSN and also become a First Assistant (Operating Room). I would also like to rise to the doctoral level, but I am not sure if I should pursue a PhD or DNP track. What are the main differences between the Nursing PhD and DNP degrees?
Thank you.

The PhD degree focuses on research and other scholarly activities. The DNP includes some research and scholarship, but focuses more on the practice of nursing ... applying knowledge ... using knowledge to improve practice, etc.
