I went out and hung out with my bf. :) Absolutely didn't study the day before. Tried to keep my mind at ease.

I just basically chilled OUT:-) Well as much as i could...I went shopping, watched t.v. and i think i reviewed a few things i was not sure on, but NOTHING MAJOR! coz well, if you don't know the material and how the NCLEX tests...Well you just aren't going to learn it in 24hrs before the test.....
I would say, just chill and not worry, cuz really there is nohting much you can do now! :-)...
Good luck...
Let us know how it goes!

I tried to be as calm as possible, and stay away from the books, eat and sleep well.

Have to agree with the previous posters that staying calm and relaxing is the best thing to do. In my experience though, this should be the most common response:
'I came to Allnurses.com and posted to everyone how nervous I was!'

I wouldn't do any more practice questions the day before. I think I spent a lot of time gagging from nerves.
ever sinced i flipped the calender to November.. i couldn't stop freaking out but this forum has helped me a lot.. I take my NCLEX-PN the day before thanksgiving. Worried about ways to calm myself before the exam and I think relaxing and packing away the books sound like a good idea. I've heard stories of people partying the night before to calm their nerves. Has this worked for anyone?

I drove the hour and half (well I got lost so it took me 2 1/2 hrs) to the city where my test was being taken got a hotel (tradition for my class), went to Carrabas for dinner (this was also a tradition for our class), ate dinner in my room and watched movies and cried. Did not sleep probably more then 2 hours all night long. I did not study at all. Did not even take my books with me. I tried really hard to remain calm and positive. Good luck to you!!!

I did not study 3 days before my nclex. Went out w/boyfriend, did my hair, watch a movie, hung out with friends (who I haven't seen for yrs), ate a lot of fish (which I really hate) teacher said it helps you remember....worked cuz I passed. Bascially I RELAXED and it felt good not to study............
