What caught your attention in the world today?

I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news.  I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

According to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.

Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.

The arrested the guy the next day.

What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

Correct... some not all Republicans.

It would appear that Republican leadership may be more enamored with power than with right and wrong or matters of ethics, morals or character.

What do you think would be required for them to "come to their senses"? A couple of impeachments, tens of thousands of lies including dangerous lies about a pandemic and our elections and clear law breaking hasn't tipped them that way. I wonder what it would take.

You mean like Trump supporters whining about the honesty of other people after they swallowed tens of thousands of lies directly from Trump?

It appears that your projection fell flat on one of it's faces. Thoughts and prayers.

Pot meet kettle.

Surely you have a link to tens of thousands of lies?  We don’t whine about Democrat politicians we already know they are grifting scum.

At least he's admitting his lies but says he's not a criminal.  My guess is it will blow over and people won't really care.

Hard to believe that a person incapable of telling the truth hasn't committed a crime even if it was lying on a mortgage application.  Of course, his leader Trump has done it without any consequences so he's just following his Jesus.

LOL

How did you miss all of Trump's lies?  My guess is that you simply dismiss any reporting on Trump's disqualifying dishonesty and corruption as fake news and so you are not really aware of his malfeasance.

Here's a list of identified Trump lies beginning in 2016. We knew he was a liar before that but Republicans were certain that he would be a great president so here we are....

Once again your projection has fallen flat on one of it's faces... how embarrassing that you keep trying to project Trump and Santos’s lies and cons onto democrats... in real time...is that naivete?

Speaking of pot meet the kettle.  It seems odds that a Trump advisor of all people would be calling out someone with a fake resume.  It's not that Trump had a fake resume, but he lied from Day 1 when he said he had the largest inauguration of all time and it just got worse from there to his continued lie about winning the election.   Scratching my head on this one.

We do live in a time when lies don't matter and facts are "just your opinion".   Hopefully though Santos's days are numbered as more things are uncovered.

I do think we live in a time when if someone is wrong the media says they are lying.  If someone makes a campaign promise then doesn't deliver then they are lying.

Biden lied to the American people about Afghanistan and he's probably lying about the border situation.

I can take criticism of Biden without clutching my pearls.  I don't like deflection.  If you want to avoid a subject, just avoid it and don't say "but Biden...but Trump....".

I'd say that Trump had a fake resume.  Trump is not a business world savant or genius.  He's a corrupt liar born into wealth who seems to have the skill set of a criminal. Trump isn't a conservative.  Trump isn't a strong man or strong leader, he's a political strongman...a bully authoritarian. He isn't moral or ethical or patriotic, he's transactional and narcissistic and governed by emotional whims and appetites.  His whims are often petty and vindictive.

We knew all of these things about Trump in 2016.

We knew all of these things about Trump in 2016.

And he was still a better candidate than Hillary.  Maybe we prefer someone that worked for a living rather than someone who rode her husband’s coat tails all her life.

It will blow over among republican voters for certain... they don't give two cares about having liars or conmen represent them in government. Character isn't important to the people who celebrate Trump.  We see that in abundance from MaybeeRN...

LOL

You believe that you've pointed out hypocrisy by using deflection, projection and trolling techniques. That's funny as hell.

Candidates deserve to have their lies pointed out and criticized for it.  But, you seem to prefer to also disparage those who vote for them all the while you ignore the lies and other dispicable behavior of those you vote for. Biden has been lying to us fir decades, but you ask for sources as if you have no idea.

I can't decide if your frequent posts like the above are hypocrisy or projection?

What gets me the most is how clueless posters on here are to their own candidates graft and corruption.  Get out of the echo chamber sometime.
