when you are accepted into nursing?
i usually just stick in this one and very occasionally the general nursing discussion. is there somewhere people post about specific courses that are made into stickies like this one? it just occurred to me that i will have to move on from here if i get accepted. lol ... ok having a spaced-out moment.
anyway .. just wanted to ask where your "base" at all-nurses.com will be next term. my apologies if this is a double of another post ... i haven't been around enough lately to have kept up and know!

i think the "nursing students assistance" forum is suppose to be the board you are talking about, but it is not clear to me and others that it is the case. it seems more of a place for anybody posting problems or concerns regarding nursing school.
i posted a suggestion on the feedback board and you can too. maybe the powers-that-be might either create a forum for undergraduate nursing courses (adns and bsns) or they may choose to change the name of the forum that is already established if enough of us make the suggestion?
i think this forum is outstanding for the non-nursing (pre-req. and co-req.) courses and i think the graduate students have nice forums as well. so why not the adns and bsns?
i want to "graduate" from this forum too when i am accepted. i will have two co-reqs left and i will be taking those during my summers if i gain fall admissions. therefore, i will not need this forum unless i have questions regrading those classes.
so to all that read this, please post to the feedback forum and request a place for adns and bsns! if the "nursing students assistance" forum or some oether forum is already established for adns and bsns, then request that the forum is renamed as such.
please be respectful and thanks in advance!

I frequent whatever forum is on the "most recently posted" forums . . .when I log on, I go to the most recent title, click on it and scroll down to look at the ones I'm interested in. I've never limited myself to one forum.
You should branch out and check out as many as possible.

I start by clicking on 'nursing discussion' at the very top, and then 'last 24 hrs'. I don't look at this MB board by board. I pick discussions I like from what is currently being discussed.
I like the near real time of that. But, I don't like real time chat because people can get too rude, and I don't like 'bots' propositioning me all the time.
But if you find a busy period, you can have a 'conversation' here, in the current threads that are active.

I don't see any need to focus my attention in any particular forum. Like Timothy, I go wherever the discussion is most interesting. Since I am in and out of allnurses.com several times per day, I click on the menu choice that gives me all the new posts since my last visit. That way, I check all the boards simultaneously.

After I get accepted, I'll still mainly stay in the Break Room.
....Although I'll check the others periodically as well. :balloons:
BTW, Kayel, I hope things are going well for you! :)
