What is the best state in the US to apply for NCLEX and why?

Published

I just passed the November 2009 Nursing Licensure Exam and I will be getting my License ID this April 6, 2010. But I haven't decided on what state will I apply. They said that the process in California will just take you more than 8 years. Texas needs you to have more than 2 years experience. Hawaii - you still have to get CES or CGFNS. By the way, if I pass CGFNS on 1 state... do I have to take it again if I'll be applying again in another state?

8 years of process in california? i think that is misinformation. applying in california will just take you 4 to 6 months.. i took me 5 months when i applied last year to get my eligibility..my friend took her 4 months.. the advantage of applying in california is that they dont require cgfns and 2 years experience like texas..

i am taking nclex pn in april i need help.

Even if you write the NCLEX how do any of you plan on getting a job?

There are more than enough unemployed new grad RNs and PNs in the US to fill existing job vacancies.

My immigrant visa processing for TX is currently pending. I started with no hospital experience whatsoever.
