hi all! i am 1/2 way through school and am not sure what i should do to get more clinical/"on the job"experience. some background, i currently work in the dental field and have been managing a small family practice for the past 3 years (while going to school). i'm looking for a position in a hospital that will help me get my foot in thedoor. are there any comparable positions that you would suggest in the interim between now and graduation? any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Not really anything comparable.
I think most would recommend becoming a CNA. It gives you excellent hands on experience and a foot in the door.
Some places will offer tuition reimbursement to their employees.

CNA, nurse tech, phlebotomist. Doing this part-time or prn will be a good option since nursing students already have their hands full with loads of classwork.
