Hello,
For all the people who are taking anatomy in spring 2007, what book are you using? I just bought "Primary Anatomy" by John V. Basmajian. It's almost 400 pages!! I'll try to devote most of my vacation time to prepare for this class!
Anyone planning on doing the same?
Btw, I just found out about this forum!!
Thanks for being helpful!!

Hello, and welcome. I haven't bought mine yet, but my school is using 'Human Anatomy and Physiology' by John Hole. There are 3 books. A textbook, lab book and another one I am unsure of that was published by my school.

We are using principles of anatomy & physiology by Tortora & Derrickson. It is HUGE! I am not sure my backpack is designed for this. I might have to breakdown and buy one of those book carriers with wheels.

Hey, I saw your post and want to mention the Hole's website. Go there and click on the student tab, pick the chapter you are doing and they give you 4 sample test do. Then they give instant results. helps with the learning process and you may have similar questions on your test. They also have different animations to look at that helps to learn. Those not using the Hole's book check it out. In the Hole's book they will tell you to look at the website. The site is free and anyone can go there. I used it to refresh with med-surge and patho.

Do you have a link? I am so excited, but can't seem to find it. (Hope I don't have the same problem with anatomy.)
Ah. I found it. Thank you so much for telling us about it.
Hole's Human Anatomy and Physiology Information Center:
Hey gald you found it. Hit the student tab. Then check on the animations. It will say start quiz, click on that, then a page with a test will come up. At the top of the page will say start animation, click on it and the license agreement pops up. Once your past that things will be good.
Hope this help you guys. I think there is over 100 animations. You can also practice labeling exercises with the tab on the left. Good luck.

We use Marieb's text - the green one with one of the Williams sisters on the front (it's put away right now or I'd check the title). It's over 1000 pages. But we use it for A&P I, II and III. We also use Eder's Lab Atlas and we use a coloring book which is very helpful.
