Hello guys, I was interested in doing my RN to Bsn at WGU. I've done everything I needed to do except sent my transcript. I recieved my last transcript a few days ago but I have not sent them because now I'm a little skeptical about going there. I joined the Facebook group and the things I'm seeing on there have me reconsidering. Can anyone tell me their true feelings about WGU rn to bsn program? I just want to make the right decision. Thank you.

I know someone who I work with who is in the program and likes it. The only bad thing I've heard is that you can only get what's equivalent to a 3.0 gpa due to their pass/fail system. This is fine, but if you want to continue on into a graduate program that's competitive like some CRNA and NP schools, you may not be considered a top applicant. 3.0 gpa is often the minimum accepted for some graduate level programs. So you may qualify by meeting the bare minimum, but you also may be selling yourself short. Really depends on your future goals and if you're disciplined enough to get on and pace yourself to get the coursework done.

I completed the WGU RN to BSN in Oct 2016. It took me 1yr and 3 months. I found the program to be as challanges as the one my sister is doing through a state UT Arlington. I really like it and they are accredited 2 of my former coworkers also completed the WGU program. I believe there are several post on AN regarding WGU. Just search WGU
