I just got accepted into the Indianapolis Feb 1 cohort. I'm just looking for anyone else in my cohort or someone willing to share their term 1 and 2 experience.
This is for the prelicensure program.

Sorry that I can't share my experience, but I am applying for the same program in Indianapolis soon. I was wondering if you'd be willing to share what your grades/TEAS score were like?
Also, did you take stats/pharmacology/Microbiology before entering the program?
Thank you!
I had a 3.28 science GPA and a 84 on the TEAS. I had to take Microbiology, a &p 1/2 with labs before they would consider my app. I took them all with straighterline and the lifespan development class with study.com... I wi be taking pharm, biochem, and stats this term..they sound scary, but a lot of people said its not that bad... I had no healthcare experience whatsoever... I hope this helps..
This totally helped, thank you! I just finished A&P 2 and lab with straighterline and I am actually just about to sign up for lifespan development with study.com (like today). I'm going to take micro, pharm, and stats before I apply just to get them out of the way.
And I also have no healthcare experience. I'm studying for the TEAS and things are looking alright, better than I thought based on my practice sections. Will be taking the whole practice test again soon - took one a while back and didn't do so bad.
Put all my eggs in one basket with WGU because straighterline won't transfer to Ivy Tech (took A&P 1 there and was considering their program). So thanks again, and congratulations on your acceptance - I wish you the best of luck!
You as well. I believe the next class is in July with the VA and eskenazi, so may want to have everything done 3 months before. Good luck.

I love it so far. The first term is not as bad as the course titles sound. I'm a single mom working full time, so I love being able to study on my time and make my own schedule. Term 2 had to be delayed by the school due to finding clinical sites, but that was due to the hospital staffing. I books are online. I love it because you can do a search and quickly look up info. I did my prerequisites on straighterline, which let me "dip my toe" in the online learning environment. And it motivated me to move faster so I didn't have to pay more. If u have any questions please let me know.
