My student mentor confirmed that FNP is hopefully going to roll out in Spring 2020 . I’m totally excited . I love WGU, but don’t know if I want to wait that long either ???

Hi Salmo23,RN

I decided I did not want to chance and wait blindly. I went on to another program. It would be nice to see WGU FNP program get rolling though!

If you don’t mind me asking , but where did you decide to pursue your FNP? I also want to keep my options open . I’m scared I won’t get in a legitimate FNP program because of WGU’s pass or fail. I have some “not passed” on my transcript because of classes I didn’t finish on time 😞

Was it difficult to get in ? I live in Texas, wonder if I can apply from Texas ?

Do you have to go to campus or have intensives/check offs??

My class has students from Texas. They do have annual summer intensives. You look for your own preceptors. You can check their website for admission requirements.
