I signed up for feb 4th morning session. I hope it’s them mostly talking to us! Is anyone else waiting for UCLA decision?

When you guys got interview invitations did it change the status of your app on the application portal to something different?

It looks like this when you get an EAO Day invite or interview.

Thank you! So far it seems like they’ve only sent out EAO decisions. I know last year, I received my general interview invitation February 14th. So I think they do EAO, see how many decide to accept admission and then invite the regular interviewees. Last year they invited 192 to an interview. I believe 76 were accepted, about 20 were chosen for alternate status and they only picked 8 from that. I think, don’t quote me LOL

Do you know if it was 192 applicants total including EAO + formal interviews? Or 192 applicants for just formal interviews?

Hey! Thanks for the info. Does anyone have an idea of why some applicants are invited to EAO versus others are just invited to general interviews? 

Also, does everyone who gets accepted attend at least one or the other?

No problem! Some applicants applications are so strong that WesternU is almost 100% they’ll accept them. So they invite them to EAO to essentially meet them to make sure they’ve made the right choice, as well as the applicant in accepting admission. 
 

Everyone either attends EAO or is invited for an interview. From there, they make decisions. So to answer your question, yes. You’re either invited to one or the other.

Prereq. GPA: 4.00

Overall GPA: 3.80 

Experiences: CNA in high school, hospital volunteering at 2 facilities, crisis counselor volunteer, research assistant, community/church youth leadership. 

I submitted my application on the day of ? I don't think application submission date play a role in the determining factors.

EAO attendees, does anyone know if the decisions will be made 2 weeks starting from your own EAO date or the decisions will be made 2 weeks after all the EAO days have past?
