WGU RN-BSN June 2016

Nursing Students Western Governors

Published

Hi, everyone! I will be starting RN-BSN June 1st anyone else starting then or currently in program? I have been an RN for 22 years and have not been in school for awhile. Looking for some tips/advice on how taskstream rubrics work. Thanks for any comments. I look forward to finding fellow students to go through program with!!

I am getting ready to sign up for RN to BSN program but trying to get all my ducks in a row first (and I will be moving soon), so I can concentrate on school. Does anyone have any suggestions on what tasks might be completed BEFORE starting; to help ensure speedy completion? For example, I may try some advance studying for classes like STATS? Any website suggestions? I'd like to finish in 6 months if I can (due to monetary considerations), but I might just be dreaming : )

Hi all! I will be starting RN to BSN with Missouri October 1st. I have 43 CUs to complete. Anyone else starting soon? Any tips? Hoping to get done in two sessions.

I believe that both the preceptorship at and a state university are at clinic settings, but I haven't gotten that far yet so keep that in mind. I talked with a my nurse recruiter where I work and she told me that getting my BSN from WGU would not be an issue because it is an approved program on the BRN's website. RN Programs

How did it go? Did you finish? How long did it take you? I'm starting August 1, 2017 and have to take Biochem and Statistics as well.

Hi! nurse_ariana I am planning to start Dec. 1, 2017. I think I will need a similar amount of CU's to complete. Will you tell me how you have done so far? Is it really possible to get through this program that quickly? I am curious what to expect and how to best plan my study time. Thanks!
