Yes I know 2.0 horrible, but I am not going to explain I have an AS in Biology from DCC with a 2.0 that I would like to transfer into a BS Nursing program in NYC or even Westchester area? Should I just literally get this idea out of my head, is this even possible? I have my Nutrition, Maths and English, etc done with A's. ( I never withdrew from a semester properly so they left F's on my transcript) I still need my A&P and Chem to complete.
Can I transfer say into a general Liberal Arts BA program, take my A&P I & II and Chemistry and hope to then officially get into Nursing that way?? HELP please.
I DO not want to go for my ADN since I already have an AS, I want my BS. Thank you.
SUNY OR CUNY preferably as I would need financial aid just to cover even the lesser priced schools.

I believe most nursing programs have a min of 2.5gpa but it is so competitive that most applicants that are accepted have 3.0 or above. You should go to the particular school and speak to someone as anything is possible.Im sure students with a 2.0 have gotten in
thanks i appreciate it.

you can try attending a SUNY or CUNY community college just to get your GPA up by taking A&P and Chem and then transfer into a bsn program. you should speak to some admissions counselors in the schools your interested in attending see if they can give you any other adivce. good luck.
