I Recently Started A Job At A New Hospital. Twice, So Far, I Have Been Scheduled To Work At 7pm On Sunday Night On My Weekend Off. I Do Rotating Shifts. I'm Not Steady Nights. The Hospital I Worked Previously Would Never Have Scheduled Me For Night Shift Let Alone 7p To 7a. The Supervisor Told Me That It's Because It's Actually For Monday. By The Time I Drive 1hour, Get Ready, And Try To Get Some Sleep, Sunday Is Ruined After 3pm? What Does Your Hospital Do For Rotating Shift Nurses ON THEIR WEEKEND OFF?

I guess it all depends what nocs your facility considers the weekend. Mine uses fri/sat as WE for nocs so technically, a PM on sunday wouldn't be 'considered' the weekend-(-eventhough it would be a bust for you) then when your on days the WE would be sat/sun, it also depends on who is doing the scheduling.... some people get better schedules than others
