Weatherford College Fall 2012 start

Published

Well, I am not sure if someone has started this topic already but I wanted to find others who will be applying for Weatherford's ADN program this application period. I am scheduling my TEAS for next week. I am excited to apply and see how things go. Would love to hear from others who are applying this round as well. Thanks and Happy New Year!!!!

PS I have been taking my pre reqs at TCC.

yeah i think it could go either way, but with only 80 applicants it sounds like a good chance since many people apply to a few schools and may not pick wc!

Jess...did she mention if the Wise County campus had many applicants?? Thank you soooo much for the update!!

Yay,for march 1st!

she didnt mention wise county, so you might email and ask her :)

I wonder how long they will take to let us know? Last year it was April 1! I can't wait to get started on the long list of "to do's"

I would get started on your list now, Simcr. Sounds like things are looking great for 18 and up.

Hopefully the this month will go by quickly for us all. Taking Micro and APII is definately keeping me busy!

Kalt, are you taking micro, ap2 at WC? I took mine there and both in the same semester, it was a little busy :) I don't really know what all has to be done and the new deadline until the letters come out, so I will wait. I am working on learning some key things to be ready though, I have been taking everyones blood pressure...lol

I'm trying to prep the freezer with store bought frozen meals for the family, such as lasagnas...just in case! I'm sure there will be plenty of nights, (most nights) that we will be thankful for something fairly easy. There are 5 kiddos still at home, so any kind of preparation will be a huge help!

you should look up crock pot meals you can freeze! its so amazing how much time it saves! you just gather up all the ingredients preped and put it into a freezer bag and mark what it is, what day you will use it, how long to cook it that way another family member can help. You set it out the night before to thaw and pop it in the crock pot and wait for it to cook! it does take hours to cook, so not a quick fix if someone isnt there to put it in while your away...

Good idea Jess! I was thinking over the schedule and trying to figure out how everything will get done in a day? Go to school until 4, homework, dinner, bath for kids....then I will be exhausted, but it will be time to study and do homework

i know, it does seem like a crazy schedule!! i dont have kids at the moment, just my hubby and my two puppies :) but i work six days a week so that takes out a huge chunk of time... i might try for this spring semester and if i get in just try to find another job... im not sure. i work with great people and its not demanding at all, just not flexible hours.

I am taking micro and APII at TCC and my life feels pretty hectic right now. I just keep telling myself that it's only another 9 weeks or do and I will be done! If I don't get in I plan on Statistics for Summer......yuck! Really glad I got a pressure cooker too. Haha. Speaking of pressure I am tempted to ask KL what our chances are point wise but I don't want to be a bother.
