Weatherford College Fall 2012 start

Well, I am not sure if someone has started this topic already but I wanted to find others who will be applying for Weatherford's ADN program this application period. I am scheduling my TEAS for next week. I am excited to apply and see how things go. Would love to hear from others who are applying this round as well. Thanks and Happy New Year!!!!

PS I have been taking my pre reqs at TCC.

If you guys had to guess...about how many applicants would you say they might typically get for the Fall ADN program??

Quick question.

Does anyone know if I need to actually apply to WC on top of the paperwork I gave the nursing dept? I was under the impression that I just had to fill out the Allied Health App, show proof of Hep B, TEAS scores and transcripts. I am freaking out now because a friend pointed out that the WC online check list mentions a WC application that goes to admissions. I went over all my paperwork with the Nursing dept. and they didn't mention anything.

Maybe I should call to find out?

It is on the checklist located on the website. I also looked on my alternate selection packet from the last application period, it listed a checklist with due dates after being excepted, there was nothing on there about applying to the college so I think you have to already have applied, one of the first things you have to do after being excepted is a transcript review, that requires an active application with WC. I would give her a call just to be safe, I wouldn't want to miss something silly like this that keeps you from getting in. Better to be safe:)

I was worried about the same thing, she told me that if I had been a student within the past year, I didn't need to apply to the college again, but if it had been longer, then yes, fill out another application.

getting transcript today and dropping it off at admissions at WC. Filled out WC college app on line. Calling KL and admissions today. I told them I was a TCC student. Don't know why they didn't tell me about this. Hope this doesn't blow it! pray for me.

Everything is done. Then went to see KL to double check she has all my paperwork. All good. now its study time !!!!!! Thanks for your help Simcr and Idslees.

Yay just turned in my app. Was pleased to find out that I do get a point for life span which is still in progress. That makes 16 points for me. She said only about 40 have applied so far, But she said usually she gets a lot the last week. Really?? I would think people wouldn't wait till last minute. I guess I waited till 1 wk before.lol
