Ok, so I took the NET April 15th, and just got my results today. As I suspected, math was my weak point. On the math portion, I got 50%. On the reading comprehension, I got 79%. On the written expression, I got 81%. My overall composite score is 65%. Is this good enough, or should I retake it? How much does the NET factor in to getting in the program? TIA...

If you get a chance, I would definitely retake it! How could it hurt. I took it on April 25 and am anxiously waiting for results. My school places a lot of value on the net. I wish I had the opportunity to retake it.

At WCCCD the NET test is only used for a tie breaker for the very last spot...The only thing that WCCCD cares about is if you passed and YOU DID!!!! If you GPA is a 3.6 or higher (I only say this because of the average of lowest GPA's getting accepted) then I would not retake it. One of my friends is graduating this month and her net score was 61 composite.
If you want to retake it and you think you need help with the math Dan Walker is a great tutor. I took him for med math and he was awesome!

Hi I wouldn't retake the NET test. I thought this at first when I first got my scores but I passed and that's all that mattered. Your scores aren't too far of from mines I got a 56% in math and a 70% in reading. A total composite score of 64% and I applied to the program on Tuesday. So take it and run with it. It's too hard trying to pass that test. Good Luck:bow:
