WCCCD first clinicals

Hello! I am just finishing up my OB clinicals at Wcccd. I was in your spot just a few months ago and yes it is normal to be scared! What do you want to know about? Who are your instructors? What hospital are you at?

Hi everyone!
Can NOT believe I made it through the first 8 weeks, has been so long and trying..have 2 more finals to take, but am not worried about passing. Can any of you that have already went through the first med/surg clinicals just let me know what I am in for? lol, What should I expect? Is it normal to be scared ****less? Thanks so much, you have been a great help to me since i started coming here.

:yeah:Congrats!!!! And it is WAY normal to be scared ****less!! My 1st day of clinical is FOREVER etched in my brain. No worries though, you will survive. Assess & chart early, study the drug classifications, utilize all that you've just learned & go to the lab & practice for the evals you will test out on (Transfusions, IV & something else...) It seems so long ago...

Congrats on your completion of the first 8 weeks!!!!!

It is super duper normal to be nervous...I am going into my third clincal rotation on Saturday and I am nervous about that (the unknown always makes me nervous).
