Hello Everyone! I am applying to the Nursing program at WCCCD in May, for the Fall admission. I have taken all of my pre-reqs and co-reqs except for Lifespan Development. I am in English 119 right now because my English class that I took at EMU didn't transfer as the right English class.
I am pretty nervous. I just hope someone can give me some feedback. My grades in my pre-reqs are A&P 1-A, A&P2-A Micro-B Psych-A and then whatever I get in my English class. I am hoping for an A, but I am taking it online with Kenneth Jannot and he is very disorganized, and I am unsure of what is expected of me. I took the NET test at HFCC and I got a composite of 81%, I am wondering if this is good compared to people who have been accepted. I also am not sure how to go about transferring the score to WCCCD.
Also, any suggestions as to how long the essay should be? I already have my reference letters, my evaluation of advanced standing, and the various transcripts we need. I am signing up to take the NET again this month at WCCCD, just in case, so I don't have any trouble with bringing the score from HFCC, and maybe I'll do better this time.
The whole situation is exciting and nerveracking at the same time. I am applying at the application meeting at the Northwest Campus on May 23rd.
Any words of wisdom or encouragement would be appreciated. Thanks, Jillian:idea:

Save the $25. That is a fine NET score. You ought to be golden. That HFCC NET should transfer, but call WCCCC main nursing office just to make sure - HFCC changed their acceptance of outside NET scores just recently.
You sound ready to roll. Good luck to you.

I agree, put that money towards nursing books! I took my net at HFCC and Wayne County accepted it. But as always, you may want to double check. I remeber that same feeling just from a few months ago. Exciting and nervous at the same time. Okay, back to working on my patient care plan!
