GW, WHC, Sibley, Children's...hire Associate degree RNs?

  1. Would anyone know how the major hospitals in DC hire new grad, associate degree RNs?

I've just applied to WHC's RN Residency program that I'd LOVE to get...just a little put down at this point though. I've applied to nearly 150 positions since the middle of December. *sigh*

Though those hospital prefer BSN degree, I've heard of them all hiring Associates RN. Have you had any luck finding a job yet? Good luck. Finding a job in this area has become difficult!

They all hire ADN's, though for most, they'd prefer BSN.

WHC is a magnet hospital I believe. And to maintain Magnet status they are supposed to hire a certain proportion of BSN nurses
