I've seen organic food at walmart for years, so it's not entirely news to me.

And I eat entirely too many slimfast meal bars. There's always at least two in my purse. Combined with odwalla protein smoothie things... boy I could use a cook.

I'm not sure which is more ludicrous, McDonald's claims that their food is healthy or that their jobs are good.

I've heard some interesting tidbits about the book "Fast Food Nation" when it came out a few years ago. I didn't read it because I don't usually eat fast food out in restaurants. But I do tend to overdo the convenience foods like veggie burgers and whatnot.

I'd like to see this movie, but will wait until it comes out on DVD. I enjoyed SuperSize Me. On the DVD extras the author of Fast Food Nation was interviewed by the Supersize Me guy.
