Hi there,
My boyfriend and I are RN's in Ontario (he works ICU and I work NICU), and we are looking towards getting our nursing license in Arizona (so we can work there and get a SSN which will then allow us to travel more freely within the US).
I have looked into some travel agencies but after reading many reviews I am really at a loss as to who to trust. I know many places are considered part of the EE (such as american mobile)- but can anyone share with me positive experiences they have had with certain travel nursing companies?
If anyone had completed travel nursing assignments in Arizona and is willing to share their insight that would be super helpful as well.
Thanks so much!

I can tell you this for sure, every single agency has happy travelers and even fans. Larger agencies produce more bad stories primarily because they have far more travelers. And American Mobile is the largest. Forget about the agency brand and focus on recruiters (from any agency) with whom you communicate well with and trust. Trust only goes so far before you have a working relationship so my advice is to talk to lots of recruiters and pick the best three to five to work further with - then you have a plan B to go to if your first assignment choice goes sour. Don't bother with any recruiters or agencies who won't give you any info about real and open assignments and compensation without signing in full. Not worth the effort.
