Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (State of Illinois : Department of Financial and Professional Regulation). There is a section called license lookup where you may be able to find yours information.

I put the web address but somehow it didn't come through so I'll try again.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but Illinois is VeRY slow.

I got a job offer last October, applied for state licence the next day, but it took five months for them to process it, by which time employer said forget it, we got someone else . . . . . . .

Keep watching the job market, and keep applying, just in case the same thing happens to you.

OMG! 5 weeks...!! Tomorrow is my last chance :( HR said tomorrow will be my last day to submit my license number, I can't believe it takes BON so much time processing something that other states process in 3 days. This is ridiculous! Good bye to my dream job :(

Thanks for this info skylark.

I started my process April 1st, all documents were overnighted by the 3rd, got a fingerprinting card after calling them 5 times that it hadn't come by the 21st, came 23rd, fingerprinted in the South the next morning and overnighted back, they said 4-6 weeks for "fingerprinting to clear."

It took a week here for my background check. C'est la vie. Anyone have any updated schedule for a timeline for out-of-staters getting the RN to start?
