Waiting for AANP to respond

Hi everyone,

I am so frustrated tonight because I mailed in my application for my certification exam just over 5 weeks ago, and I cannot get anyone at AANP to return my calls or speak to me in person. ARRRGGGHH!!!!! I've been calling them for 10 days, and the only "real" person I've spoken with is the receptionist. Has anyone else had to wait this long (or longer) to hear from them? Does anyone know if they wait to process your payment for the exam until you are approved for the test? The more I think about it the more upset I feel. My bank statement came today and it does not show they processed my debit card for payment.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Deb

I don't know if this is helpful to you at all........but ANCC cashes your check or charges your card within days. The average wait time to hear from ANCC is 6-8 weeks. Hang in there and keep calling!

I went though the ANCC and it took them about 8 weeks to process my application. Yes, I can understand your frustration. I was also very frustrated while waiting from the ANCC too. It's hard to study when you have not heard from them and you don't have a test date. I echo the above poster and I would say, just keep calling and hang in there, they have to respond sometime soon.
